FAQs
Everything you need to know about ImmiHub.
ImmiHub is a mobile app where H-1B visa holders can store their immigration documents, pull expiry dates from them automatically, and get reminders before anything expires. Think of it as one place for your Passport, I-797, I-94, Visa Stamp, and EAD instead of digging through old emails and phone photos.
Right now, ImmiHub is for H-1B visa holders living in the US. We're working on adding more visa types, but H-1B is the focus for this first version.
You can upload 7 document types. Five of them get full expiry tracking and reminders: Passport, I-94, I-797 Approval Notice, Visa Stamp, and Spouse EAD. The other two, Employment Letters and Other Documents, are stored securely but don't have expiry dates to track.
Yes, completely free for individual users. No hidden fees, no premium tiers. We don't think anyone should have to pay to keep track of their own immigration deadlines.
No. ImmiHub is an independent app built by immigrants, for immigrants. We have no connection to USCIS, DHS, or any government agency. We don't report anything to anyone.
Your documents are stored on AWS cloud servers in the United States. Everything is encrypted, both when it's sitting in storage and when it's being transferred. Only you can access your files through your authenticated account.
No. Your documents are encrypted and tied to your account. Nobody on our team can open, view, or read what you upload.
No. We don't collect fingerprints, face scans, bank details, or location data. The only info we store is your name, email, phone number, visa type, and whatever documents you choose to upload.
Yes. If you want out, email support@immihub.ai and we'll delete your account and everything connected to it. Nothing gets kept after deletion.
No. We don't sell your data and never will. The only third parties that touch your data are AWS (where your files are hosted) and Firebase (for push notifications), and that's purely to make the app work.
You take a photo of your document or pick one from your gallery. Our system reads the text and pulls out the expiry dates automatically. Before anything gets saved, you see the dates on screen and confirm they're correct. If the scan gets something wrong, you can fix it right there.
You get two reminders per document: one at 6 months before expiry and another at 3 months. Both come as a push notification and an email, so you won't miss them even if you skip one.
If your spouse has an H-4 EAD, yes. During setup, select "Have Dependents" as one of your goals and the Spouse EAD document type will appear throughout the app. Separate family profiles with their own logins are something we're planning for a future version.
You can still upload it. The app will flag it as expired and keep it stored in your vault, but it won't create reminders since the date has already passed. Useful if you just want everything in one place for your records.
Nothing bad happens. You always see the extracted dates before they're saved, and you can edit them right there if something looks off. No reminders get created until you hit confirm.
